Dekton makes its debut at the Mutua Madrid Open with star chefs and athletes

Dekton, Cosentino’s ultra-compact material and surface sponsor of the Mutua Madrid Open, is off to a strong start in Spain’s biggest tennis tournament thanks to a spectacular kitchen set. This set provides leisure activities to the tournament’s guest and will be active through May 8. To inaugurate this unique “living cooking” space, a cooking demonstration featuring three Michelin starred chef, David Muñoz and tennis players, Feliciano López, Fernando Verdasco and Eugénie Bouchard took place. Muñoz led the show with his culinary creations inspired by the tournament.The four tennis stars played their part by demonstrating their own culinary prowess and casually assisted the chef in preparing the dish. Dekton and Silestone at Milan International Bathroom Exhibition

 The Cosentino Group attended the International Bathroom Exhibition as part of Milan Design Week 2016 (April 12th-17th). Cosentino displayed its innovative collection designed exclusively for bathrooms. Occurring biennially, this is an unmissable event for manufacturers and professionals in the bathroom industry.

The Cosentino Group also attended the International Bathroom Exhibition with the prestigious Canadian design studio Cecconi Simone.  Cecconi Simone has created a spectacular stand that is over 1,290 sq. ft. (120 m2) for the Cosentino booth. The “Travel with Cosentino”, concept of the space symbolizes the internationalization of the Cosentino Group and the adaptability of its products to adapt to any country or climate.

The Cosentino Group presents Dektonhenge by Apparatu in Milan Design Week 2016

Cosentino Group presented Dektonhenge by Apparatu during Milan Design Week 2016 in Via Savona. 

Dektonhenge by Apparatu is an experimental project created by Xavier Mañosa, founder of design studio Apparatu.  The project proposes a review of the origins of Dekton. Together with Cosentino’s R&D department, Mañosa puts the ultra-compact surface through a ductile and malleable process. Working with Dekton as a raw material, he explained the transformation of the material from its liquid to solid states, similar to the process for ceramics. The aim of the ceramist was to discover new ways of working with Dekton, to find out how versatile Dekton could be, and the different uses to which it could be subjected.

Cosentino Opens New Center in Portland, OR

Cosentino proudly opened up its newest Center in Portland, Oregon on April 13th. The new state-of-the-art interactive showroom and warehouse is the first of its kind for Cosentino in the Northwest.

Cosentino Group at Milan Design Week 2016

The Cosentino Group will attend Milan Design Week 2016, taking place April 12-17.

  • Milan’s Cosentino City will open its doors during this week-long event to show off new Dekton and Silestone products. Music and live culinary activities will take place over the course of the event.
  • Cosentino and design studio Cecconi Simone will attend the 2016 Salone Internazionale del Bagno displaying a spectacular booth built around the concept “Travel with Cosentino.” Inside the exhibit, Cosentino’s innovative bathroom collection will be on display. This collection reinvents bath spaces with its custom-made large format concept.
  • Cosentino has also collaborated with Apparatu design studio to create the Dektonhenge by Apparatu ensemble.
