Cosentino Group undertakes a new Investment Plan to consolidate their leadership and future growth

Cosentino Group presents its Strategic Business Plan for the next four years in order to consolidate its position as world leader in the manufacturing and distribution of innovative surfaces for design and architecture. The plan focuses particularly on the expansion of the Cosentino production facilities, primarily based at the Cantoria Industrial Park (Almeria, Spain), and on the future growth of its Dekton product, which is expected to increase from 5% of total consolidated sales to over 20% in 2019. Cosentino Group Buys its Canadian Distributor

Last week the Cosentino Group acquired its Canadian distribution partner Maple Terrazzo Inc. for $11 million. The new acquisition demonstrates Cosentino’s onging commitment to international expansion by strengthening both its presence and distribution network in priority markets, including Toronto.

To date, Cosentino has opened four Cosentino Centers in Canada and invested more than $21 million to support its Canadian expansion. The company currently has more than 100 facilities worldwide.

Cosentino Unveils Innovative ‘Cosentino Center’ in Los Angeles

The new state-of-the-art Cosentino Center in Los Angeles is an interactive showroom and warehouse that will enhance the kitchen and bath design experience for architects, designers, fabricators, distributors and consumers in the region. The center officially opened today.

As a family owned business headquartered in Spain, Cosentino has long been the trusted surfacing brand in Europe. The Los Angeles opening is part of the company’s larger strategic plan to underscore its position as the surfacing leader in the U.S. market with increased availability and distribution of its products. Cosentino Design Challenge – The International Competition for Students Announces 10th Edition

Cosentino Group announces the 10th edition of the International Student Competition, Cosentino Design Challenge.

Cosentino Design Challenge is an international competition with collaboration from 21 international institutions, schools and universities from as many as four continents: Europe, Asia, Oceania and America.

The competition consists of two categories, Architecture and Design and the main objective is to foster the talent of students from any school or center of higher education for design, architecture or interior architecture anywhere in the world.

Cosentino Presents Innovative Products at Coverings 2014

Cosentino, the global family-owned company leader in the production and distribution of innovative surfaces for architecture and design, announces an exciting lineup of new and innovative products to be displayed at Coverings 2014 in Las Vegas on April 29 – May 2 (Booth #2036.)  Cosentino’s exhibition booth will highlight the newly launched Dekton® by Cosentino, as well as Silestone’s most recent Nebula Code and Ocean series’, ECO by Cosentino® and SenSa® granite with SenGuard.

One of the highlights of the booth will be Dekton by Cosentino, an innovative new ultra-compact surface capable of seamless indoor and outdoor use that features advanced technical properties and functionality and is the result of extensive research and development. By utilizing Particle Sintering Technology, a proprietary technique that mimics the metamorphic change that rocks and stone undergo in nature when subjected to heat and pressure over thousands of years, Dekton offers UV and thermal shock resistance, superior strength, high resistance to impact, scratches and abrasion, and low water absorption. Produced in large format slabs, measuring approximately 126 inches x 56 inches, Dekton allows for large-scale interior and exterior applications.  Dekton is available in 10 white, gray, black, and natural stone hues and in three polished, matte, and slate finishes.

In addition, Cosentino will present the two most recent color series to its Silestone natural quartz line – Nebula Code and Ocean. Silestone Nebula Code, an evolution of the popular Nebula series, is composed of five neutral hues that are subtle yet distinctive, inspired by the appearance of natural stone, and feature an original pattern of brilliantly colored veining throughout the surface that never repeats. Silestone Ocean, the most exotic Silestone color series available, offers a natural aesthetic similar to that of exotic granite. The Ocean series features six colors with bold patterns and a wide range of movement.

Cosentino will also showcase ECO by Cosentino® and SenSa granite with SenGuard. SenSa, a maintenance-free natural granite with 100% stain protection and a 15-year warranty, is specially sealed with SenGuard treatment, SenSa granite is protected from staining while allowing the stone to breathe and retain its natural color. ECO by Cosentino is a leading line of eco-friendly surfacing material for kitchens and bathrooms composed of 75% recycled material.  The result of a significant research and development initiative, ECO has been considered an industry pioneer in its commitment to re-thinking how surfacing is produced. ECO is made from up to 75% post-consumer and post-industrial recycled raw materials, including mirror, glass, porcelain, and vitrified ash. The recycled content is then mixed with 25% natural stone including: scrap from mountains, quarries, manufacturing, and fabrication; and is bonded together with a proprietary, eco-friendly resin made in part by corn oil that also eliminates the need for sealants.  ECO offers a 10-year limited manufacturer’s warranty and can be utilized for a range of residential or commercial projects including kitchen and bathroom countertops, wall cladding or flooring.
