Silestone® White Zeus Extreme was voted the most popular color this year. This result was the outcome of an online survey conducted by Cosentino at the start of the year via its 25.silestone.com website, as part of the various initiatives the company has organized in 2015 to mark Silestone’s 25th anniversary.
Last week the Cosentino Group acquired its Canadian distribution partner Maple Terrazzo Inc. for $11 million. The new acquisition demonstrates Cosentino’s onging commitment to international expansion by strengthening both its presence and distribution network in priority markets, including Toronto.
To date, Cosentino has opened four Cosentino Centers in Canada and invested more than $21 million to support its Canadian expansion. The company currently has more than 100 facilities worldwide.
The new state-of-the-art Cosentino Center in Los Angeles is an interactive showroom and warehouse that will enhance the kitchen and bath design experience for architects, designers, fabricators, distributors and consumers in the region. The center officially opened today.

Cosentino Group announces the 10th edition of the International Student Competition, Cosentino Design Challenge.
Cosentino Design Challenge is an international competition with collaboration from 21 international institutions, schools and universities from as many as four continents: Europe, Asia, Oceania and America.
The competition consists of two categories, Architecture and Design and the main objective is to foster the talent of students from any school or center of higher education for design, architecture or interior architecture anywhere in the world.
Cosentino Group presents a new Silestone® color, Acqua Fraccaroli, in collaboration with Brazilian interior design and architect Brunete Fraccaroli, to celebrate its 25th anniversary.
The launch of this new, limited edition color is being carried out worldwide through events in the cities of London, New York, Vancouver, Sao Paolo, Sydney, Singapore, Tel Aviv, Milano and Barcelona. Acqua Fraccaroli will be presented simultaneously at 100% Design in London and at Cosentino Centers in the aforementioned cities.

The New Class of Trendspotters will Collaborate with Silestone for Upcoming Color Series
Silestone has announced the 2015 class of its popular Trendspotters program. The six industry influencers will collaborate with Silestone on colors to debut at KBIS 2016. The program, now in its fourth year, kicked off with a day of trendspotting around Manhattan, culminating at the Opening Night of the Kips Bay Decorator Show House where Silestone is showcased in the kitchen designed by Christopher Peacock.
The new Trendspotters—an eclectic mix of influential interior designers from the United States and Canada—each hail from markets known for their distinctive design. Throughout the program, they will capture and share both regional insights from their hometown markets, as well as design inspiration and the latest trends using the hashtag #SilestoneTrends via social media and through the program’s website, SilestoneTrends.com.
Cosentino Group has set up in Israel with the opening of a new Center in the city of Tel Aviv which will centralize the service for and distribution of its products for the whole country.
